Long Night of Research 2018 with ventopay

Last Friday, 13 April 2018, Austria’s largest research event went into the next round. For the eighth time, the Long Night of Research took place and ventopay was once again present at the Hagenberg location.

Under the motto “Save and secure”, interested people could inform themselves from 5 to 11 pm at Softwarepark Hagenberg about the achievements and latest innovations of the local institutions.

In Austria, 228,000 visitors at more than 265 locations followed the invitation. The visitor record was also broken at the Hagenberg location.

Entertainment for young and old

Interested parties of all ages were offered a lot at the ventopay booth. Adults could inform themselves about the following topics:

• the latest innovations from ventopay in the area of smartphone apps and customer loyalty
• the possibilities for safe, fast and cashless payment
• how billing works via the mocca^® cash register and payment system
• the topic of cash register and legislation in general

At the ventopay booth, a station of the research quiz was waiting for the younger researchers. After correctly answering a research question, the children received a stamp for their research passport. With enough correct answers, the kids received a great surprise gift.
