Recently, the new 100 and 200 Euro banknotes were presented, which will be issued on May 28, 2019 and will quickly find their way into the mocca^® system.

mocca^® machines already up to date

ventopay actively sought early receipt of the new banknotes in order to be able to convert the machines in the mocca^® system to the new banknotes in time.

The software for the banknote acceptors of the mocca.value, mocca.value+ and mocca.guest machines has already been updated and tested positively by the Quality Assurance department. The software update is already being rolled out to all customers to allow a smooth transition of Euro banknotes.

Many innovations to the banknotes

The new 100 and 200 Euro banknotes ensure even greater protection against counterfeiting. Although the three known test steps feel – see – tilt persist, there are many innovations:

customized colors and modern design
changed, smaller format
broken relief on both edges
€ symbols on the emerald number
foil strip pn the right side with a satellite hologram, a portrait window, the main motif of the banknote and the € symbol
