New platform for employee catering in the recently opened headquarters
Enthusiastic workforce thanks to maximum ease of use
The new ventopay system in the recently opened Nestlé headquarters is a beacon for modern payment and management systems in communal catering. Single Sign-On (SSO) is a convenient solution that offers employees maximum convenience and security.
The payment system is completely cashless and is used at several locations in the new building. Four cash registers are installed on the ground floor of the restaurant, where payments can be made using an employee ID card or app via the integrated online wallet.
Digital catering process and automated billing
The catering process has been fully automated to ensure maximum efficiency and transparency. Events with the associated people are created using the Gingco room booking tool and automatically transmitted to the ventopay system via an interface. Card numbers authorized for consumption are transmitted in real time via the dormakaba access system, which is also connected.
This process ensures that the event sales are posted on the authorized cards and that the sales are finally transferred back to the room booking tool and billed fully automatically to the stored cost center.
App and website for maximum flexibility and sustainability
The new app and website offer maximum ease of use for employees. Credit can be conveniently topped up and all payments processed digitally. Credit can be topped up using a bank or credit card or PayPal.
Additional functions such as a capacity display and numerous helpful links, e.g. for room reservations or timetables, meet the needs of the workforce. The choice of individual portion sizes in the ventopay app and website supports the goal of reducing food waste.
Digital overall platform significantly reduces effort
All data is recorded in real time via the central administration and management software mocca.admin, which ensures smooth and secure processing. The overall platform enables efficient, central administration and control of modern employee catering.
The interfaces to the room booking and access system automate the entire process of card management and guest hospitality. Changes to employee or guest ID cards are transferred to the ventopay system in real time, which ensures seamless updating.
Further innovations already in operation or in planning
A digital signage screen shows guests the menu selection clearly. The digital kitchen printer on the top floor ensures efficient production control in the barista bar. The production information is presented clearly and paperlessly.
In the near future, the ventopay system will be connected to the existing inventory management system. In the future, article and menu plan data will be able to be managed centrally, which will significantly reduce the administrative effort.
