At this year’s event “Construction and operation of canteen kitchens and modern company catering” on 9 and 10 October, ventopay took part as a platinum partner at FH Campus Wien.
Together with DDr. Franz Haslauer – the managing director of the ÖMBG (Österreichischen Mensen Betriebsgesellschaft m.b.H.) – ventopay CEO Ing. Johannes Reichenberger gave an inspiring lecture.
“Attractive canteen – Successful operational control concepts and digital customer loyalty”
Under the title “Attractive canteen – Successful operational control concepts & digital customer loyalty”, the two presented, among other things, the jointly implemented digitalization project “Mensa Club”.
In addition to the increase in efficiency in the back and front-of-house area, the main focus was on close customer loyalty. At the more than 50 cafeterias throughout Austria, an innovative customer loyalty solution with a smartphone app now replaces conventional discount systems and speeds up payment.
Digital customer loyalty program achieves all goals
Joint project implementation led to long-term and sustainable efficiency gains. In just 2 years, the following goals were achieved:
- automated billing with subsidy providers
- uniform payment medium at all ÖMBG locations
- Austria-wide customer loyalty program
- flexible bonus and subsidy programs
- innovative customer communication platform to the guests in real time
