Lufthansa’s high requirements in terms of digitization and process optimization were a perfect fit for ventopay:
A holistic concept was required, which, in addition to checkout and payment systems, primarily promotes customer enthusiasm via app, web shop and digital interaction.
Customers should have the opportunity to obtain goods, information and services anywhere in Germany at any time and also offer the operator the opportunity to constantly develop further in line with customer requirements by means of targeted feedback.
Sporty project implementation in just a few months
Thanks to professional planning, constructive cooperation and a great desire for perfection on the part of both companies, the large-scale project was able to be implemented successfully and on schedule within just a few months.
From day one, many components of the mocca® system from ventopay are available to Lufthansa employees. In addition to stationary checkout systems including card readers, customer displays, receipt printers and scale connections, digital innovations in particular are available. Self-service top-up machines to top up credit and payment modules for coffee machines, which can be operated using a smartphone, are seamlessly integrated into the system and can already be used by employees.
Above all, the mocca.loyalty app ensures real customer enthusiasm: The smartphone application for Android and iOS devices not only allows you to top up and view credit, but also secure mobile payment and download all eBons. Practical features are also the digital display of the current meal plans and the real-time occupancy display of the individual restaurant areas.
Automated news module based on AI
For the first time, an automated news module based on artificial intelligence is used in this project:
An intelligent news system was integrated into the mocca.loyalty app for Lufthansa, which enables the more than 100,000 employees to be fed with relevant news content fully automatically.
Using artificial intelligence, the relevant contributions are identified and played out from the broad content pool of external and internal media as well as social media channels.
Fully automatic, digital specialist or topic newspapers or a company newspaper are created, which can be seamlessly integrated into the mocca.loyalty app.
