From 4th to 5th July 2022, the Management Forum Starnberg organized this year’s annual conference “Construction and operation of canteen kitchens and modern company catering” in the Design Offices Munich Macherei.

The industry representatives in Germany came together for the 8th time to talk about the canteen kitchen of the future. Many best practice examples of innovative and sustainable concepts were presented in the presentations, including:

networked and digitized kitchen
opportunities and challenges of change
the way to climate-neutral communal catering
customer loyalty through experiences
innovative construction and equipment technology
groundbreaking new construction and conversion projects

In his presentation, Stefan Wögerer, regional manager of our long-standing customer Eurest Austria, presented the latest innovations that have recently been implemented together with ventopay.

Exhibitors in the "World of Canteen Kitchens"

In addition to the interesting lectures on trends and efficiency in company catering, ventopay was again on site as a platinum partner with its own stand in the “World of Canteen Kitchens” trade exhibition.

Christopher Baumgartner (Team leader Sales) and Andreas Essing (Location Manager Essen and Senior Area Account Manager – Region North) used a comprehensive demo system to demonstrate at the stand how trend-setting digitization works in mass catering.

In addition to the cashless checkout and payment system mocca^® and the automatic food recognition mocca.foodrecognition, the two also presented the mocca.loyalty app – a digital platform for payment, communication and customer loyalty.
