Integration of your existing cards into a digital payment system
Do your guests already use chip cards for access or time tracking? The ventopay team is happy to assist operators of cafeterias or canteens in integrating existing cards into the mocca® payment system. By adding a payment function, you enable your customers to make cashless payments in cafeterias, canteens, and food service. It doesn’t matter whether you use Mifare DESfire, Mifare Classic, Legic Advant, Legic Prime, Hitag, HID, or Nedap cards.
Digital payment system via smartphone
As an alternative, you can also offer your guests a digital payment system on their smartphone. Various options are available: NFC, QR code, and BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy). With the latter, you can even enable cashless purchases at vending machines.
Various payment system options
Cashless payment in the mocca® system works either as a prepaid option or through payroll deduction.
With the prepaid option, guests in your company cafeteria load their cards at top-up terminals or guest card machines within the mocca® system. Depending on your preferences, the top-up can be done with cash, debit card, credit card, or a combination of these.
Allocation of subsidies and allowances
When paying cashlessly in a canteen, cafeteria, or food service using a contactless chip card, the card is simply placed on the reader at the checkout. Within fractions of a second, the amount due is deducted from the balance.
Subsidy and allowance logic can also be integrated: When paying with a chip card, the employee receives a defined subsidy amount, which is immediately deducted from the total bill.
Receipt access via top-up terminals, app, and website
Your employees’ and guests’ purchases are automatically recorded electronically, giving them a transparent history of all transactions. If needed, the corresponding receipts can be reprinted at any time at the top-up terminals within the mocca® system. You can also view receipts anytime and anywhere via the mocca.loyalty app or the mocca.loyalty website. The digital payment system fully complies with all legal requirements.
Standardized interfaces
With ventopay’s standardized interfaces, you can easily integrate other systems such as inventory management, HR management, or ERP systems. This allows you to benefit from reduced effort, consistent data, and elimination of redundancies.
100% compliant with the law and tax office
The entire mocca® system meets the requirements of all laws and guidelines in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. These include Section 131 BAO (Bundesabgabenordnung), the RKSV (Registrierkassensicherheitsverordnung), the GoBD (Grundsätze ordnungsmäßiger Buchführung), the GDPdU (Grundsätze zum Datenzugriff und zur Prüfbarkeit digitaler Unterlagen), the KassenSichV (Kassensicherungsverordnung) and the DSGVO (Datenschutz-Grundverordnung).
Data and IT security according to ISO 27001
In addition to complying with all legal regulations, the mocca® system is also secured according to the latest security standards. In addition to virus scans and operating system updates, ventopay ensures that access to sensitive data in the mocca® system is only possible with appropriate authorization. The audit security of the mocca® system has been confirmed by the renowned Tengelmann Auditing Services & Consulting GmbH. Their comprehensive audit showed that ventopay’s cash register and payment system is audit-proof and complies with all security guidelines. In addition, ventopay is certified according to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, a globally recognized standard for information security management systems (ISMS).
